This Donation & Refund Policy explains the terms under which voluntary donations are accepted on Doom-MU, what donors receive in return, and the limited circumstances in which refunds may be considered. It supplements section 4 of our Terms of Service.

1. Donations Are Voluntary

• You are not required to donate in order to play Doom-MU.
• The full game and all core gameplay features are available to all players, free of charge.
• Donations exist solely to support the running costs of the server (hosting, infrastructure, development, and community management).

2. What You Receive

As a token of appreciation for supporting our project, donors receive website credits that can be used in our in-game shop on cosmetic, convenience, and progression items.

• Website credits are part of the game service only.
• Credits and any items purchased with them have no real-world cash value and cannot be exchanged for currency or other goods outside the service.
• The contents of donation tiers, the credits awarded, and the items available in the in-game shop may change at any time.

3. Donations Are Final and Non-Refundable

By proceeding with a donation, you acknowledge and agree that:

• All donations are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
• Website credits are delivered immediately upon successful payment confirmation. By making the donation, you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that any statutory right of withdrawal (such as the EU 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU) is waived once the credits have been delivered.
• Doom-MU does not refund donations on the basis of: a change of mind, account suspensions or bans, server resets or rebalances, item changes, technical bugs that have been resolved, or third-party software issues.

4. When We May Issue a Refund or Re-Delivery

We will review and, where appropriate, correct or refund a donation in the following limited cases:

• Duplicate charge — the same donation was billed more than once due to a technical error.
• Unauthorised charge — the donation was made without the cardholder's authorisation, after we verify the claim with the payment provider.
• Failed delivery — the credits were not delivered to your account due to a server-side error and cannot be delivered after a reasonable investigation.
• Mandatory refunds required by applicable law.

In all other cases, donations are not refundable.

5. How to Request Review

If you believe one of the situations in section 4 applies to you, please contact us before opening a chargeback or dispute with your payment provider. We respond to support requests within a reasonable timeframe, usually a few business days.

Provide:

• Your in-game username
• The date and amount of the donation
• The payment method used (PayPal, card, crypto)
• The transaction ID or reference, if available
• A clear description of the issue

6. Chargebacks and Disputes

Opening a chargeback or payment-provider dispute on a donation that we have already delivered, without first contacting us, is treated as a serious breach of these terms. In response we may:

• Suspend or permanently ban the associated game account, including any characters, items, and credits on it.
• Apply IP- or hardware-based restrictions on the account.
• Provide the payment provider with the full transaction logs, our Terms of Service, this Refund Policy, the customer's account history, and any in-game chat or actions relevant to the dispute, so the provider can decide accordingly.
• Refuse future donations from the same account, payment method, or identity.

7. Cryptocurrency Donations

Cryptocurrency donations (e.g. USDT, BTC, TRX) are by their nature irreversible once confirmed on the blockchain. We do not have the technical means to refund a crypto donation. Any over- or under-payment will be addressed in website credits where reasonably possible. Please double-check the amount and recipient address before sending.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Donation & Refund Policy at any time. Updates take effect when published on this page. Donations made before the change are governed by the policy that was in force at the time of the donation.
